Easter Party and Egg Drop

We had such a great time at the Chambliss Children's home for our Easter party. It is always so encouraging to see the students hang out with the precious preschoolers. The students had a great time eating a snack with them and then playing games with them. Their favorite part was of course helping the preschoolers find the hidden eggs. Here are a few pictures from the day.

We also had the egg drop a couple of weeks ago. The students had to use what they have learned in Science and use their creative side to come up with a contraption to keep an egg safe dropping from 3 stories. The students were very creative in their projects. Here are a few pictures from the day.

Soda Pop Reports

The students did a great job on their Soda Pop Reports. All of the students learned so much from hearing the different reports. Here are a few photos of the students and their Soda Bottles.

They did such a good job!

Chapel

Today was my favorite day of the week, Wednesday! Wednesdays are my favorite part of the week because of chapel. This week was my turn for chapel. I was very excited to have Mrs. Jada Daves speak to the students today. A couple of weeks before chapel I asked the students what kind of song they would like to sing. I had many different answers some were pop songs and others were songs that we have sang before in chapel. One song came up called Jesus Loves Me by Go Fish. I googled the song and we listened to it. As soon as the song was over I knew we should sing that song.

We practiced many times during the past few weeks. They were dancing around in their seats while singing this song. I knew they would love this song since it was so up beat. When they got up on the stage this morning all the students looked so scared! Almost all of them got stage fright while up there. They did a great job singing the song though. I am so blessed to have such a sweet class. Here are a few pictures from chapel today.

Getting read to sing.

Leading the pledges and saying the prayer.

Helping Mrs. Daves today. Each ball stood for a different letter.
                                           B- Best , A- Attitude, L- Learn, L- Laugh.

I am so thankful to teach in a christian environment. I love being able to worship God everyday with my students.

Happy Wednesday!
